Carter Trucking & Excavating, Inc. first began in March of 1968, as Gossen & Carter Excavating, Inc. In March of 1972, the name was changed to Carter Trucking & Excavating, Inc. and the company was owned operated by Larry and Edna Carter. In December of 2013, Larry and Edna's son, Wayne Carter, took over the business, and he has been running the company since.
Carter Trucking & Excavating, has been in business for over 50 years, doing excavating for residential, commercial, and farm projects. This includes connecting and running sewer and water, digging basements, trenching and other sitework projects. We also have experience in foundations, flat work, and shoreline restoration.
We also offer services for townships, including snow plowing, road rebuilding and repair work, shouldering, and installing culverts and guard rails.
Wayne also owns WJ Carter Trucking, LLC which works closely with Carter Trucking & Excavating, Inc. hauling stone, sand and fill for sitework and free stall sand for farms.
